Allergies and skin problems are common and problematic. Allergies are a result of your dogs immune system overreacting to the antigen, causing inflammation and itching. It is critical to get to the root of the problem. Check for bacterial & fungal (yeast) infections, parasites or sensitivities to different pollens or other environmental allergen. Some skin problems can be the result of digestive dysfunction so ensure that your dog’s diet is species appropriate and that their gut is healthy and strong.
